Daniel has been asking for at least 3 days to get his science kit out and do experiments. Because of our busy holiday schedule, there just hasn't been time. We finally gave in this morning, during our 'veg' time before more holiday festivities. He got his kit, and the first experiment he wanted to try was 'oil and water'. As he and his dad were working on it in the kitchen, he said that his main reason for wanting that experiment was to be able to think of a way to help the people in the gulf clean up their oil spill. I know he will be thinking about what he saw in the mini-experiment over the next few days. If he comes up with a good solution, I'll be sure to post it back here.
Matthew's 4th of July goal is to play Wii.
Over and out.
